Wedding Edition: Invitation Suite
Our beautiful Nouveau invitation suite was designed by Canada-based Papertalk Press which was founded by husband and wife, Jon and Michelle. Papertalk Press has been featured on 100 Layer Cake, and Michelle was a total joy to work with!
Our wedding colors were predominantly black and white with deep red accents. Traditionally, it is frowned upon to incorporate black in a Chinese wedding. Out of respect for family and friends, we thought it would be appropriate to mark the start of our celebration with loads of red, which symbolizes good fortune and happiness, on our invitation suite.
We also decided to have our initials blind embossed to add a bit of texture to the invitation. One thing we really wanted was for each invitation to feel personal, so we had all our guests' names printed on their invitation.
Save the date . Place cards . Table cards . RSVP card
We named each table after a gemstone and handed out gemstones which were personally chosen for each guest as wedding favors.
If there are any brides out there who are looking for invitation suite ideas, here are a few favorites I found during my search.
