Feature: Reading List

I think reading is crucial. More importantly, it is a habit that every parent should pass on to their children. My parents are avid readers, and when I was in school, we were given a list of books we had to read every semester. To ensure we read the books, we were required to write reports on each book and participate in weekly discussions. I may not have enjoyed every book I read then, but it instilled a great habit.

I find it really hard to enjoy fiction most of the time. Once in a while, I find one that is hard to put down (the last fiction I read was The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova), but in general I prefer non-fiction. Here are a few I highly recommend:

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks - Rebecca Skloot
Tuesdays with Morrie - Mitch Albom
The $100 Startup - Chris Guillebeau (currently reading this)
In the Garden of Beasts - Erik Larson
The Tipping Point - Malcolm Gladwell
Women, Work & The Art of Savoir Faire - Mireille Guiliano

Have a wonderful weekend  x
